Northern Indiana | This is incorrect, the higher than SF1 signal level receiver (such as SF3 or RTK) needs to be on the tractor so that the signal share feature will work. Signal share is shown as a chain link between both receivers. For example, with an RTK 6000 on the tractor, the SF1 receiver on the planter can also utilize the RTK corrections.
SF3, RTK, and SF-RTK can all do signal sharing from the tractor to the implement
You could run RTK on both tractor and implement receiver, however this is unnecessary with StarFire receivers

I think RTK on the planter and lesser on tractor and then planter RTK can share its correction.
We run RTK on both but I believe I’m recalling that correctly.
6000 with RTK had dropped dramatically in price it seems last 3 or 4 months. You could buy on auction and eliminate any questions
