Prairie Home MO | It flooded in 2019 and 1993. Might have in 95 as well but I don’t remember. Pre 93 idk when it flooded before that. It takes a lot to blow through the levees but when it does it makes a mess. When you crossed the Missouri on I70 there at Rocheport that all used to be farmed. After 93 US Fish and Wildlife and MO Conservation went in and bought it all up from the farmers and converted it to wasteland. Sand was to deep to plow under and they wouldn’t let the owners put it back in the river where it came from so there only option was to sell it. Kind of sad to see. | |
