Last year was a bumper corn crop according to the USDA. However now we hear that the conditions were so bad that we are way short on seed corn. I got news for you guys seed corn grows in the same areas as the 177-bushel corn USDA reported my guess is that's not there either.
From what I understand it's not the bushels per acre the seed corn raised but the quality and germ is bad.
