NW IA | Here's the thought that enters my head when I misplace my tin-foil hat. That some government/big-pharma coalition forms and decides it is in the best interest of the nation's health and budget (since 60% of us are shopping in the plus size section at Wally's) to form a national health care plan that would pay for the cost of these drugs rather than the wave of diabetes treatments, amputations, dialysis etc. that is coming soon to the obese majority.
One-stop-shopping. Get your fat-free healthy whole grain gruel, fake meats,veggie oils and plus-size fashions while on your way to the pharmacy to load up on glp-1 juice!
I talked to someone who had a heart episode some years ago. His cardiologist told him that if he were in charge he'd, "Put statins in the water supply." I actually remember conversations like that on the news when these miracle drugs debuted. | |
