| We have evaluated different Humic and Fulvic acid products in randomly replicated wheat trials for many years. Based on the products tested within our no-till plots, we have NOT seen any significant yield difference to either product (compared to the untreated checks).
In most wheat management trials, increased N rates almost always generate the highest return on investment (assuming you have a short variety which stands up very well with increased N rates). Don't try this with early planted, tall varieties within fields with a history of lodging!
If your soil or tissue tests are low in sulphur and you don't have a history of sulphur applications, this might be the next product with a high return on investment, especially in low CEC soils within in a no-till system. | |
