I used a shuttle of it last year in furrow on corn. I think the use rate is 2 qt/acre. It's better not to mix it with high salt fertilizer as it kills the biology. It's best if refrigerated until you need it. I believe it's a good product. Like any living biology the logistics of working with it are greater.
As far as yield response, there really was none, although that really wasn't my goal. I was hoping to help soil biology out. I did a test last yr with nothing in furrow, vs pivot bio, vs holganix, vs PB and Holganix mixed. Results were inconclusive.
how the heck do you manage to refrigerate 2 quarts per acre? I dont have a fridge I can put multiple totes in........ |
