Subject: STX tractor auto steer

NW Iowa
I recently purchased a STX 450 that has a Trimble steering valve installed. I'm switching the tractor to ag leader. My dealer says I can use the Trimble valve with Steer Command or save $1300 by using a Steady Steer. I have another STX with a Ontrac 3 and a Magnum with steer command. Both work fine for me. Is it worth the $1300 to use the valve that is already there?

I'm also looking for opinions on what level of accuracy to use on this tractor and my two others. Currently run wass and there's enough times that passes are off I'm looking to upgrade signals. Options would be Terrastar C one time $400, Terrastar L one time $1500/$1000 per year( unlock is on sale until 4/30), or RTK one time $4500/$750 per year. These 3 tractors will be running display cast hauling liquid manure.
