Not looking for the politics or controversy. I dont have a dog in the fight.
Is this Co2 that is sequestered a liquid? How is storing a vast amount of Co2 Underground a positive thing? (other than it not being in the air?) If it is a gas, how does that not eventually come under too much pressure and explode?
If its a liquid. How much can you really store to be effective?
What happens when the caverns fill up?
I Get all the pipeline kerfuffle, thats not what I am asking. Dont take it there, please. We have talked pipelines to death. I am just looking for info on how and why Co2 store underground is a positive? How it doesn't affect groundwater??
Yes political boonedoggle, good for the earth I see both sides... just facts please
The carbon is stored underground because that is what we are told is the most practical place to put it.
Is storing it a positive? No one really knows for sure, but I am positive it is making some people with the right connections an awful lot of money.
