I am not certain how many of the smaller tillers get aborted. I am going by the fact that about 3 weeks ago I averaged about 900 well developed tillers per square yard which was very close to the same counts I had last year at a similar stage of developement (about Feekes 4 near as I can tell). I did not count the little skinny ones.
How much N for my SRWW
