Hennepin, IL | I'd say all the way back to ol' JP himself. To the OP, I'd have a good look at the paperwork first. If she's right and it is an account fee the likely a line item mentioned somewhere. If that's all the case, JPMC likely has their backside covered, technically. However unless the dealer has proof that the salesman clearly mentioned it along with the interest rate, payment, etc. you likely can put a lot of pressure on them. And if you can put pressure on the dealership, they/you can put pressure on JPMC. You might even get them to eat the account fee, however you might have to have other financing lined up so you can pay them off right away and close the account. | |
