Arkansas | Have a CNH/Trimble FM-750 display running cellular RTK through a Sierra Wireless RV55 modem. About every hour or so the display starts running on xFill and counting down from the 20 minute mark. I can reboot the display and it will instantly go to RTK fixed. The status lights on the modem always stay green, and according my app, the modem never loses connection to the base. I was thinking the modem may be losing connection to the display so I found a heavier duty USB cable and installed it a couple of weeks ago. It seemed to help temporarily but now we're back to losing signal every hour or so. Has anybody else ran into this? Is there a way to run the modem and 750 combo through the serial port vs through the USB cable? I know the 372 receivers that are running through the 9 pin connector on the modem hardly ever have problems compared to the units running USB cables. | |
