Subject: RE: Non gmo beans

Michigan
The double crop NGMO's would concern me a bit if you don't get enough rain to activate the premerge chemicals. The key to non-gmo weed control is to 1) start clean and 2) hit things heavy up front with long-lasting residuals and several modes of action. Once the beans are up and growing your weed control options are limited especially if you have any resistant weeds in your area.

In Michigan we were really dry this spring and our non-gmo's were a mess because the preemerge chems never got fully activated. It was hard to recover from that.
