Yes, they can be imported directly to display from USB.

I haven't tested the following, but figure it would work:

1. If .shp is in an email on cell phone

2. Visit agfiniti.com on phone

3. Go to files

4. Upload .shp to agfiniti

5. Import .shp onto InCommand display via AgFiniti

I know AgFiniti supports .shp upload for boundaries, not sure about Rx. I'd have to test it.
