One time my daughter returned home from grade school saying a dog ate her homework.
She insisted it was true.
We were perplexed because we knew she had completed the project and we had no dog at that time.
Later that evening we got a call from her teacher saying the teacher's family dog had indeed chosen my daughter's report to devour from the stack of projects she was grading.
We later saw the evidence and it was well beyond being legible.
As parents we learned to be more apt to believe our daughter.
Teacher learned sometimes crazy things happen.
True story and great for a few laughs. | |
