Bonnie IL | We have some cereal rye and wheat CC, it was planted late late fall plus no moisture when planted so its only 2 or 3 inches tall right now, places it 4'', question is if its 4'' tall now, how does the root system compare to when its 12 inches tall. I assume the roots continually increase in mass as plant grows but wondering if the plant spends a lot of energy putting down a root mass before it show a lot of growth above ground, trying to make a decision on when to burn it down. We aren't going to leave it green till planting. | |
