Interesting comment re the combine. My combine is an old 1620 Case IH, no chopper, but it has disrupters on the concaves and the bales come apart nicely. I had thought about removing the disrupters, but maybe I should leave well enough alone.

I took the spreader off the back for the first time this fall, but that left the ground so bare compared to where the straw was spread and raked that I didn't like it.
