| Got all the anhydrous done on my little bit of corn acres this year. Used to side dress anhydrous but I have all small fields that I ran to much corn over. Spread urea over all last year and was satisfied but got lucky with rain.
This years program:
160 Units NH3 preplant
100# Urea at v5
100# AMS at v5
Any needed micros at v5
I don’t have starter on the planter and it doesn’t make sense for me at this time.
Has anyone/ could a guy preplant UAN in place of the NH3? Would want it treated with Instinct for sure and then come back and finish it off later.
Figured you could mix some 10-34-0 in with the UAN to get P deeper into the soil sort of like starter. | |
