| Not sure what sort of ration you are running but we used to do haylage and recently quit. We were finding with our primary feed being corn silage that adding haylage to the ration ended up being too much wet matter for backgrounding calves... I know for dairy it works great and I'm sure I'm some other situations it does too. We did really like the quality we could get out of it alfalfa that way but it just didn't work in our case | |
