SW Wisconsin | A friend of mine had a silo put up in 1967 that had a chute like that. He told me the doors were made of tongue and groove boards that hung on the rebar. As you took the feed out you hung the door above where the silage came out. When you went to refill the silo you had to start putting the lower doors first so the tongue and groove interlocked. He learned to hate that silo!
