The author, being obviously intelligent, does a reflection of his thesis in his views making this video. As an intelligent person he lets his biases influence in the making of the video and creates arguments to supplement his biases while avoiding a degree of a common sense approach. His realization of struggling with this is refreshing, and yet the continuing self reflection is needed.
