| Once the bipartisan bill to open the government back up went through in 2019, a bipartisan group got together to start work on a border bill. But anybody who was paying attention back then knows that Orangeman did a end run around it by declaring a National Emergency and just took what he wanted and started doing things that he wanted. Congress moved to stop him but Covid hit and there was NO way to avoid the National Emergency Claim. Once Biden fixed the mess trump left with covid he was forced to relinquish the National Emergency and start to put a Immigration bill together, bill go done and well we know how that ended.
