Just thought I'd post this again as I finally tried the suggestions on here and got my NTrip app to connect quickly to the Beacon 3.0 now. My GPS position rate was set at 10 Hz so I changed it to 5Hz to try and it connected quickly to the Beacon. If needed I'll set it to 1 Hz, just wasn't sure which it should be set at but changing it did solve the problem. Thanks to everyone. Pic is my GPS2500 as it was set before I changed it.
