Central MN
Tried to beat the rain here a couple years ago. Here we dig the ground, drill alfalfa and oats, then drag it, and roll it. Ended up pulling out of the field with the roller right as it started to sprinkle. Well the sprinkle turned into 6 inches of rain and the field ended up with some washes and standing water in all the low spots. Surprisingly the alfalfa did come up really well even in the spots where it was underwater for a week. The stand is nice now but it’s kind of rough. So I’d wait if I was you and maybe plant when conditions are right after the rain
