| Pull the pins on the rod end of the cylinders and then lift the boom. There is a hyd release, red knob, on the right side by the control lever. This is to let the boom down in case the of system failure. Pulling the knob slowly lowers the boom. I do not think it would work well to pull the knob while someone raises the boom.
You said you checked the 60 amp fuse in the engine compartment. Did you happen to check that the heavy cables were still attached to the fuse terminals. There is no easy way to see the cable or the fuse. Debris accumulates around the fuse and depending on conditions the end of the cable going to the fuse with power will rot away. It does not take long for the cable to fail. I have seen several fail. I relocate the fuse so it no longer sits in the debris at the bottom of the loader.
Is this a mechanical or EH machine.
