SW OH | My experience as a union worker is exactly the opposite. The experience of the new union worker is none. I've been training a new 36 year old grease monkey that's been in the union for 2 years this coming May. He still doesn't know which way to turn filters and drain plugs. I've seen major damage done to new expensive parts, machines burned to the ground, machines rolled over. All by newly trained and seasoned union workers. Being a union member just means a higher than average wage and paying dues to a chest thumping organization that constantly brags about how great they are.
