Ez-Guide 500 can do coverage logging (="paint") with an external switch. It has to be between pins 4 & 5 of the D9B Sub connector. Just a switch or a relay - NO voltage input here!
A simple way is to put relay parallel to the middle section of the sprayer.
Settings for this coverage logging are in the > Guidance -menu

Pressure switch in a hydraulic houses or sprayer boom line could be used with different implements...

If the D9 connector is occupied you need to get a wire harness that has different signals of the connector separated to individual connectors: Serial RS232 RX,TX,GND (2,3,5 and 9 here maybe also to power BT-serial dongle); Coverage logging signal & GND (4,5); Radar speed Output (8,5 this works also without GND in many gadgets as they share the same tractor GND anyways).

These wires can be bought (ebay, Ag-Express ...) in case you feel unconfortable making them.

EZ-Guide 500 can also use EZ-Boom 2010 for section and rate controll. It was made to be used instead of a Raven controller. This gadget paints all indovidual sections whereas coverage logging switch is just a paint brush for the entire implement width.
But I do not know know if Raven 460 is old enough to be directly replaced with an EZ-Boom. Tedbear might know more about this?
