coast of Maine | 30 years ago I told my wife that Christmas lights looked nice but not again.Ice on the ground both putting up and taking down with an aluminum ladder at times over 30 ft high was not worth the risk.Decades later I bought a boom lift,,was not a ton of $$,,way less cost than even a broken ankle.Friend shoveling his roof(snow) dropped 30 ft to a basement entrance,,broken 2 ankles and both arms and one wrist,,crawled inside barely and wiggled the phone down to call 911,,,ex employee ,,shoveling his moms roof off,,fell off hit head,,dead,,,getting a lift is best. | |
