140,000 is a good number.
10% will not germinate, says so on the seed tag.
Puts it at 126,000
1/3 are too shallow, will not grow unless it rains.
42,000 here.
1/3 are just right, this is the base count on these to grow.

This gives 84,000 plants.
Exactly what is needed for a full crop.
