We spent the past week at the same resort in Puerto Vallarta that we did last winter. We did not leave the resort a single time except for the ride to the airport to return home. No shopping trips, no exploring, no nothing except pure laziness. We enjoyed 3 hour dinners at the same beach restaurant every night. We talked and watched the sun set while the ships slowly came and went. I had a steak every night. I did get all wild and crazy a few times - I mixed it up a couple nights and added coconut shrimp and shrimp bisque. We had drinks and guacamole/chips every day at noon at the same bar all week. Breakfast/coffee was always at the same spot, in the same booth. A wonderful gracious older lady made me the same delicious bacon and spinach omelet every morning. We laid in a cabanna all week and read books while a stream of waiters brought us coffee, wine, pina coladas and mojitos. I got ankle deep in the ocean once, and submerged into the pool once for exactly four minutes. That was a wonderful vacation with my same best friend and same wife of 31 years.
