I’ve seen it briefly, and I don’t like the chances looking at it without the proper eye protection to maybe blind yourself. I would soon go to the beach and see what you can’t see there. I completely share your sentiments. Would not drive anywhere to see an eclipse. And certainly would not risk my aging eyesight trying to look at the sun. If it happens here, ok, I'll just continue, business as usual. I remember one many years ago when it got partially dark about mid morning for a little while.
