SW Iowa | Guess the County found funding for the Health Dept. to remain open another year, at the meeting this morning. Hopefully, my raising a stink about it helped in some way. I placed objections about it closing with all the news channels and on Facebook. Emailed all the County Supervisors as well. Got an email from the local newspaper today. Says there will be an article about it in the paper tomorrow.
Tried my best to be that noisy joint that needed greased. County Supervisor emailed that she did her best and we won for another year.
Got messages from all the County Workers, thanking me for helping keep their jobs. That alone, made my day brighter. | |
