I got caught out by Vernon, TX one time about 15yrs ago and got my windows in my company truck busted out by baseball size hail. It was much smoother and "full" than that hail. I saw some windshields completely blown out of cars in that event. I had the good sense to stop and turn out in the ditch so it wouldn't be striking the windshield directly.
