People get told their cancer free after a round of chemotherapy, never trust that Dr..
Dad had stomach cancer in 1996 had one of bigger surgeries to remove stuff.
Took a couple rounds of chemotherapy and Dr said cancer gone.
Within 1 year buried him.Just kind of PR work.
Now if the say in remission and checkups every six months and you get to five years could maybe say cancer free.

The wife is 11 years from diagnosis of Breast cancer.
