Paxton, IL | Personally, if you're not having any real issues with them, I wouldn't bother with it. If they seem a little slow to respond at times, that may just be the nature of the beast with aging computer type equipment especially if they have continued to receive firmware updates over the years. I would just wait until I have something more definitive to tell me there's something actually wrong before I tried to send it in for repairs, but I have a backup monitor that could run everything around here in a pinch if needed. If you want to be proactive and just have them checked out, then send them in too. I would try to get a good feel of their timeline for repairs and returning them to you first though.
If you think you have touchscreen issues, there are much cheaper places to have a touchscreen replaced. I sent mine to a guy that advertised in the classifieds and he did a great job. | |
