Pittsburg, Kansas | Some of my wife's recent art work. She takes under water macro photographs then uses them to paint from. The smaller canvases originally hung in the rooms here at the Black Durgon Inn with prints from her original art work. They were probably 10 years old and the printed ink was fading and getting in bad shape. So she sanded and washed the old ink off and used the canvases to paint on. So now the rooms will have her original art instead of just prints.
The big one was a canvas along side of the road someone was giving away. So we picked it up. Her new painting on that one is going to our good friends that live down here permanently. It is going on their bedroom wall.
She has done 5 paintings this year while down here in Bonaire for the winter. Going home next week.
