Malta, Illinois | They just wore Edy down. He carried the team on his shoulders for the entire first half and he was pretty much out of gas after half time. They needed some of their other key players to step up and contribute and unfortunately those guys were pretty quiet. They played an exceptionally good team and have nothing to be ashamed of. Great year for Purdue. Too bad they couldn't close the deal. | |
