Well, that didn’t work. I went back and tried everything again, reread all the posts that I could find and then finally decided to swap the #2 and #3 in the RS-232 cable which are the tx-rx pins. It immediately began working perfectly. I guess the ag express ready made cable isn’t exactly plug and play for this particular installation.
