I have the Milwaukee one and DO use it often in bins. Not sure I would run a gas powered one unless the bin was (a) large, (b) for short periods of time, and (c) with forced ventilation. Carbon Monoxide poisoning sucks.

I have tried both rubber paddle and bristle brooms in bins. The bristle ones work well for bins, and the rubber ones work for surfaces like grass.


The REAL key to using any rotary broom is to get a $15 wheel kit.

It takes them from almost unusable to invaluable imo.

A rotary broom is really helpful in bins over 50' diameter.

In smaller bins it's a bit of a wash, but still not too bad, especially if there is some a little stuck to the floor.

No way would I stir up the dust a blower would unless I was wearing my PAPR, but everyone likes what works for them.
