I would probably take your tractor hp x $0.27 then double it to account for the chopper. Add about $1.25 per foot of wagon per wagon and then the rate for your time. Let him provide the fuel. Depending on your chopper you may need to add more. Pickup work causes the most wear on your machine especially cereal crops. It also is the most dangerous when it comes to foreign objects. | |
