Northern Indiana | Looking for real world experience of pit additives for a swine lagoon. I'm having trouble finding non-bias information. Have 2 4000 head feeder to finish barns with 4 foot pits. Using pull plug to drain barns every 4 months. They drain to a 2 stage lagoon system. My issue is solid build up in 1st stage lagoon. Due to how the lagoons are built, we can only pump/agitate out of 1 side of the lagoon. I would like to try a treatment before dipping it out. TIA | |
