The land should have been doled out in the past, and bought up over time. Aside from National parks, nothing good comes from the Gov't owning land.
Yup, way too much federal land in the west. But it does make for some nice playgrounds for all to enjoy.
Our government's owners figured out as we expanded west, that it was easier to deal with a bought and paid for government than a whole bunch of individuals. |
