| Who on here is a fan of the show the Voice? Do you care to explain what about the show attracts you? Why do you like it? My wife is a big fan, I don’t care for it, although I do sometimes join her as she watches. I usually have something to read while it’s on. Some of my ( possibly cynical) observations. Even after a hideous ( imo) performance, the coaches fall all over themselves gushing about how wonderful the contestant did… then turn around and drop them from their team. The show has evolved into spotlighting the coaches to the point the contestants are an afterthought. And the coaches are at the tail end of their careers, if not outright has beens. Third, and I will stop with this. Whatever happens to the winners? How many go on to enjoy a successful career in the music industry?
Yes I suppose I am stirring the pot. And no there are no “reality “ or “talent “shows that I care for. Not a fan of many tv shows for that matter
