I've looked at those and if I were gonna buy a skid steer, I would try JCB for the reason you mentioned. I have Cat skid steers now and have just replaced the final drive. I blame it on mud, although I don't know for sure. Anyway, I think tires work better in our muddy winter conditions and the telescoping boom might be better for stacking higher faster. The JCB skid steer is what got me interested and I have migrated to their loaders.
