We have the Redline 50T, air operated. I don't know if other brands are faster or not, but our press is fast enough for our work. Maybe it would be too slow for doing piece work in a factory, but that's not it's purpose for us. The air control allows for some critical control when pressing.

I've always noticed that higher rated (tons) bottle jacks are slower as they get larger.
