West central Ohio | Yesterday, three quarters of the way through an 1150 mile round trip, my 2021 Ram 5500 started displaying a regeneration message on the dash. Something along the lines of "regeneration in progress keep driving." Shortly after, I noticed a major lack in power pulling the hills on I-90 in Pennsylvania. I was down to 45-50 mph at times. Dash showed normal boost pressure, so i assumed it was not a mechanical issue, so I pulled in to a rest area and forced it to regenerate. This took a little over an hour and upon completion the dpf screen showed 0%. As soon as I hit the road, the regeneration message showed back up. There were no check engine lights. I slowly managed to get home about 7 hours later.
Anyone have something similar and can share the fix? Truck has 64k miles on it. I know the short answer is delete.... | |
