Bloomfield MO | As stated, there’s a switch at the clutch pedal and one on the side of the fuel pump throttle shaft. You should have two switches on the dash, “on/off” and the other could be labeled “1,2,3” or “low, medium, high”. Check all wire connections, including where they attach to the jake housings. I’ve also seen the solenoid, in a jake housing, go bad. I got troubles myself on a 359 Pete and it Cat jake brakes.
