Subject: Marking boundaries and adaptive curves for different planters

Royal City, WA
I would like to start marking all my boundaries and guidance lines with a utv or even one of our 6000 series Deeres. I noticed when I marked the boundary of a field and made an adaptive curve for my guidance line with my JD 8360RT and 40 ft drawbar pull GP front fold planter, it was not the same when I came back the next year to plant with the same JD 8360RT and JD 1720 3 pt planter. Obviously, thinking about it now the track driven for a 40 ft drawbar pull planter will be different than the 30 ft JD 3 pt planter even if it is the same tractor. If I were to mark the boundaries and set up guidance lines with a UTV or small JD 6000 series tractor, would those work for the 2 different planters as well as multiple tillage implements and a box drill? Is it best to make boundaries and guidance lines for each planter as tillage implements are 99% drawbar pull although length of tongue varies. Any advice is appreciated, TIA.
