East Central Missouri | I've got more pasture than animals, I don't want to buy more cows/heifers at this price at this time in the cattle cycle. Neighbor wants to put some either bred mares or most likely mares along w/ 2 cows in with my herd. I have no idea what is fair to both. Well (early March )fertlized fescue pasture with water in two areas. I would rate it good pasture as far as condition. Not concerned with horses damaging pasture (overgrazing ) as we have had a discussion already. Any one have thoughts?
