North Central Kansas | We do heat detect on our heifers. Timed AI on the cows. We typically like to haul as soon as possible to avoid any delay. Last year the pasture they were going to we couldn't access until a few days after we bred them. We did not have as good of a success on the heifers as the cows. We blamed it on the delay. We don't put bulls in until 10 days after we AI. We are spending money on the semen and want the genetics that will come with those calves. | |
