Windfall, IN | I have a customer whose KM3000 is never showing population or spacing. We programmed in the number of rows, row spacing, and speed calibration. When he starts planting, the row indicator window flickers with all rows dropping seed, but population and spacing never show anything other than 0. We have tried a second KM3000 with a different power source and a different speed spensor. It does the same thing. When we hook up another Kinze planter with Dickey-john seed tube sensors, it does the same thing. The only thing that we have not been able to swap is the tractor. Also, the KM3000 generates area/hr and area, so we know it is doing some kind of math in there. Why would we not be seeing population and spacing when we have completely programmed the system and see seed drop input and speed? | |
